FRUSTRATION OF: COSTLY PREMATURE EDGE TIRE WEAR
ONGOING : TRIPS TO DEALERS OR ALIGNMENT SHOPS.
● ● ● ● OR CONSTANTLY CHANGING TIRE BRANDS” –
IN THE MISTAKEN BELIEF THAT SOMEHOW THIS COULD ALTER THE EDGE TIRE WEAR.
WHEN THE REASON / REALITY IS :
THERE IS ONLY “TOE” In, “Toe” Out (DIRECTIONAL) ADJUSTMENT
EX – FACTORY
(It’s All To Do With Cost Cutting and Ever Increasing Speed of Auto Assembly Lines)
FINALLY – (missing no longer) ESSENTIAL :
CAMBER & CASTER TO “ADJUST” TIRE CONTACT ANGLES.
THE CORRECT / ONLY SOLUTION – TO IMPROVE TRACTION AND ALLOW VEHICLE LOAD TO SPREAD MORE “EVENLY” ACROSS TIRE CONTACT AREA. INSTEAD OF “EXCESS LOAD” AT TIRE EDGE CAUSING BOTH COSTLY, PREMATURE WEAR AND ALSO HIGHER IMPACT LOADS LEADING TO RUPTURED SIDE WALL AND WHEEL RIM DAMAGE.
WITH KMAC ( NOW ONCE AGAIN ) ” FULL ALIGNMENT” REALLY MEANS JUST THAT !
and “at same time” replacing the 4 front “highest wearing” suspension bushings
(ESPECIALLY THE 2 INNER / REAR WHICH ARE SUBJECT TO PREMATURE FAILURE AND ARE EXPENSIVE
TO REPLACE). KMAC Kits also come with bush extraction tools–no need to remove arms from vehicle.
UNIQUE KMAC PATENTED DESIGN – Camber is “single wrench precisely adjustable.”
THIS REAR KMAC ADJUSTER KIT HAVE DESIGNED TO BE BOTH MORE EASILY ACCESSIBLE AND SINGLE WRENCH ADJUSTABLE – accurately (under load – direct on alignment rack) and at the same time replacing the 4 Rear highest wearing suspension bushings.
OEM FACTORY ADJUSTER IS LOCATED ON THE UPPER ARMS and to reduce inner edge tire wear moves top of tire outwards which reduces important clearance top of tire to outer fender.
WHILE THE KMAC ADJUSTER IS EASILY ACCESSIBLE and adjusts lower arms inwards . Comes with bush extraction tool and can be fitted without lower arm removal.
When 2nd Best isn’t Enough ….
WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT THE EXPERIENCE OF BEING – THE LONGEST ESTABLISHED ADJUSTABLE STRUT PLATE AND BUSHING KIT MANUFACTURERS AND WITH PROUDLY “IN HOUSE” MANUFACTURE – NOT SOURCING IMPORTS / RELABELING. ALLOWING TOTAL CONTROL OVER QUALITY AND WITH IT RAPID, CONSTANT DESIGN IMPROVEMENTS (Do appreciate any constructive ideas you can suggest in how we can further increase our market leadership).
CAMBER : ADJUST FOR MORE EVEN TIRE WEAR
TRACTION, UNDERSTEER / OVERSTEER.
CASTER : ALLOWING TO READJUST / COMPENSATE FOR THE NEW CAMBER FACILITY. CORRECTLY RESOLVE STEERING PULL, along with reduced dive / lift, improve high speed directional control and also significantly increased “brake and steering response”
FINALLY RESTORING ONGOING ADJUSTMENT FOR OTHER THAN SHOWROOM HEIGHT CONDITIONS – DAY TO DAY COMMUTING – Encountering high cambered roads, wheel “squat” through altered height – load carrying or lowering, fitting wide profile tires/wheels, worn bushings or curb knock damage.
KMAC SYSTEM REVOLUTIONIZING HOW ADJUSTMENT IS MADE – now no more (what has plagued the industry for more than 40 years) – the labour and time consuming need each time an alignment change is required – the removal of control arms and need to press out bushings and the inaccurate trial and error procedure of pressing back in / repositioning to a new setting.
BUSHES SIMPLY REPLACE the 4 Front highest wearing ( and with the two and a half times the load bearing area ). Designed also for maximum possible adjustment range. ● ● ● ● NOW ITS ON CAR – Precise single wrench accurate (under load) direct on alignment rack. With fail safe KMAC lock system. Bush extraction tools included.
ON TRACK DAYS : ABILITY TO DIAL IN “EXTRA NEGATIVE CAMBER” TO SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE UNDERSTEER, in the pursuit of hitting those corner apexes every time and allowing to go deeper into the corners with increased traction and braking response. With the result of further lowering lap times in the quest for front row of the grid on race days!
*ALSO SEE COMPLETE RANGE OF KMAC REAR BUSHINGS – CAMBER (AND EXTRA TOE) ADJUSTABLE. Also precise single wrench on car accurately under load – Moving bottom of tire inwards ( or out for extra track width ), unlike rear upper Camber arms that are difficult to access / adjust and need to reduce important clearance “top of tire to outer fender” when wanting to reduce premature inner edge tire wear.
